Musical Monday

It is New Year's Eve.  Many use this time of year, the transition from the previous year to the new year, to look back at the past year and weigh the pro's and con's and determine what could have been done better.  Is that not the reason so many use this time of year to make resolutions for the coming year, in order to make the new year better than the last?

This evening is a time many celebrate the change of the old to the new.  How will you ring in the New Year?  Will you spend it in thought, reflection, prayer?  Will you spend it at home with loved ones?  Will you share it with friends? Will you spend the evening by yourself?  There are so many ways to celebrate the closing of a chapter and welcome the opening of a new one.

No matter how you choose to bring in the New Year, I hope you remember Christ in your celebration and/or reflection.  May you move into the New Year with firm resolve to accomplish those resolutions.  May you leave behind the past, good or bad, allowing that no matter what that past holds He is moving you to a brighter future!

God bless you!
Happy New Year
